What we collect

Your account details (name, email), the content you create in your workspaces, and basic usage/diagnostic data needed to run the service.

Cookies and local storage

ForgeBoard uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your active project. These cookies are required for the service and are not used for advertising or third-party tracking. The app also uses local storage in your browser for interface preferences such as theme, colour scheme, onboarding state and whether the Loke panel is open. Public marketing analytics does not set analytics cookies; it stores only coarse first-party events with a daily salted visitor hash. If we add optional analytics, advertising or third-party tracking later, we will ask for consent before enabling it.

How we use it

To provide and improve ForgeBoard, authenticate you, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your data.

Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We don't store your card details — they're handled by the payment partner.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time from Settings → Profile → Delete account. This permanently erases your projects, uploads and AI history. You can also email us to request a copy of your data.

Data location & retention

Your data is stored on self-hosted infrastructure located in the EU (Finland), and retained while your account is active. Daily encrypted backups are kept for a short rolling period for disaster recovery.
